EMPOWERING NORTH LAS VEGAS
JOIN US IN MAKING A DIFFERENCE
What Is NorthSTAR?
NorthSTAR Foundation brings the City of North Las Vegas, businesses, philanthropists, and nonprofits together to support practical projects that improve the community. By connecting community needs with public priorities and private support, we help promising ideas move forward.
Our Key Initiatives
Sparkle
Making North Las Vegas a vibrant, beautiful place to be. Sparkle grants fund community gathering spaces, parks and recreation, tree planting, public art, and the details that give a city its character.
Thrive
Strong communities begin with people having access to the support they need. This pillar helps people live and thrive here, funding everything from basic needs to specialty services for veterans, seniors, and families.
Academics
Education is the key to the future. NorthSTAR invests in the students of North Las Vegas at every level, pre-K through college, so the next generation is set up to succeed.
Readiness
A strong business community builds a strong city. Readiness supports workforce development, job training, small-business assistance, and business innovation — giving residents the space and skills to grow.
